My team and I focus on maximizing small floor space by using weather-treated Acacia deck tiles or high-density artificial grass to create a clean, cozy foundation. We prioritize sustainability by refreshing your existing pots and stands before adding anything new, and we often install vertical trellises for creepers or custom railing stands to create a perfect spot for your morning coffee. We design based on your specific sunlight conditions to ensure your plants thrive. Transforming a balcony garden in Bengaluru requires balancing limited space with the harsh city sun and wind. We start by analyzing the micro-climate of your balcony—whether it is a scorching south-facing spot or a shaded north-facing nook—to select plants that will genuinely live, not just look good for a week. ### Our Process * **Foundation:** For flooring, we use 25mm to 35mm pile height artificial grass or durable Acacia deck tiles. This instantly changes the look and feel of the balcony, making it comfortable to step out on barefoot. * **Vertical Space:** Since floor space is precious, we look up. We install wooden expandable trellises for climbers like Morning Glory or Bougainvillea, and use tiered metal pot stands to create height variation. * **Functional Decor:** A garden should be useful. We add features like folding railing tables for work-from-home setups, solar-powered lighting for evening ambience, and even small blackboard stickers if you have children who love to draw. * **Sustainability:** We have a 'reuse first' policy. If you have old ceramic or plastic pots, we bring them to our garden center, give them a fresh coat of paint or a deep clean, and repot your existing plants with our enriched vermicompost mix. ### The 'Mom's Magic Zone' Many of our clients ask for a kitchen garden. We love setting up dedicated herb patches where you can harvest fresh mint, basil, and curry leaves right at home. It adds a wonderful sensory experience to your balcony and makes the space feel alive. Whether you want a minimalist Zen garden with pebbles and a single statement plant, or a jungle-style dense foliage look, we tailor the setup to your lifestyle. We handle the heavy lifting, the soil preparation, and the drainage, leaving you with just the joy of watering your plants. ## About Urban Jungle I left a 9-year corporate career to start Urban Jungle because I wanted to create something real. It is just me, my husband, and our dog Bhau managing this wild green ride. We don't believe in strict garden rules; we just want to create a space that feels like a genuine, breathing part of your home.
