Bring me a jar, a bowl, or any container you love, and I will transform it into a thriving green world that holds your memories. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This video shows how an empty cake jar can be transformed into a tiny green world. With a proper drainage base, a cute Peperomia cutting, and a few miniature accessories, I upcycled this simple jar into a magical terrarium.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/a3f718a5-8b48-40fe-9620-1b6f79830e5f) ## About Upcycled & Personal Creations Don't toss that empty jam jar or antique fishbowl. I build bioactive terrariums from scratch, which means I handle the drainage layers, activated charcoal, and the humidity-loving plants like Fittonia so your upcycled piece actually survives. You bring the container, and I will provide the technical setup to turn it into a tiny, sustainable ecosystem that lasts. There is something magical about taking an object that was meant for the bin and turning it into a living, breathing part of your home. My upcycled creations are not just about aesthetics, they are about engineering. When we work on your personal containers, we follow a strict bioactive process. This is not just putting soil in a jar. We start with a drainage base, add activated charcoal to keep the water fresh, and use specific soil mixes tailored to the humidity levels inside your chosen vessel. This ensures that even in small, enclosed spaces, the plants thrive rather than just survive. I often see people bringing in old cake jars, chipped ceramic bowls, or even fish tanks they stopped using years ago. My job is to figure out the right plant 'friendships' for that specific shape and light exposure. If you have a sentimental item you want to repurpose, bring it to our Doddakannelli garden center. We can talk through whether it needs to be an open succulent arrangement or a closed tropical terrarium. Gardening is not about following rigid rules, it is about observation, trial, and letting nature adapt to the space we give it. Whether it is a tiny Fairy Garden or a lush Bio-Active Bowl, let's make something beautiful out of what you already have. ## About Urban Jungle I am Shipra, and I left my 9-to-5 life to get my hands dirty with plants.
