We do not just teach you to play, but we build opportunities like classroom recitals and our annual Music Manthan festival to help you overcome stage fright. This develops the confidence to play in a live setting, whether it is for a small group or a full auditorium. At Urban Raga, we believe that music should not stay locked inside the practice room. A major part of our curriculum is preparing students to take their skills to the stage, which is why we organize frequent, low-pressure classroom recitals. These events provide a safe space for students of all ages and levels to get comfortable playing in front of their peers and teachers. For those ready to take the next step, our annual Music Manthan festival is the highlight of our calendar. It brings together our students from all our centers in Bangalore and Shillong for a high-energy, collaborative concert experience. We view this as a vital educational tool. Playing with a live band, managing the acoustics of a venue, and engaging with an audience are experiences that define what it means to be a musician. Whether you are learning to play the tabla, guitar, or piano, we encourage you to join these performances. Our goal is to move you beyond technical mastery to a place where you can express yourself with confidence. If you are preparing for ABRSM or Trinity certification exams, we also use these performance opportunities to simulate exam conditions, ensuring you feel prepared and calm when it counts. ## About Urban Raga We are Urban Raga. We believe that music is meant to be shared, not just practiced alone. That is why we make performing a central part of the learning experience for every student who walks through our doors.
