I pay close attention to the height and volume of centerpieces to ensure they look full and elegant without blocking the line of sight across the table. Whether we are using brass vases for a traditional Haldi or tall glass arrangements for a modern reception at places like Taj Santacruz, the goal is always to balance aesthetics with guest comfort. The difference between a standard setup and one that feels special usually comes down to the details. After 15 years, I have learned that guests remember the small things, like a witty sign at the entrance or the specific scent of fresh flowers on their table. My approach to centerpieces is built on variety and material selection. For traditional functions like the Haldi or Mehendi, I often reach for brass vases and warm tones like marigold and chrysanthemums. These materials ground the event in tradition and bring a classic texture that looks great in daylight. When moving into Sangeet or Reception spaces at venues like Novotel Mumbai Airport, I switch gears toward cleaner lines. Think tall glass vases with white lilies, baby's breath, and structured floral arrangements that lean into a more polished, upscale aesthetic. Beyond just flowers, the details include the supporting elements that hold the theme together. A welcome sign for a Mayra ceremony is not just a board; it is the first piece of communication your guests receive. I work on customizing these signages with floral accents and typography that match the rest of your decor. Practicality matters just as much as style. I ensure all centerpieces are stable and appropriately sized for the specific table shapes at your venue. We also manage the logistics of setting these up, ensuring that everything is in place before the first guest arrives, leaving you to focus on the celebration rather than the logistics. ## About Uours Decorators I started Uours Events 15 years ago with the goal of making spaces feel personal and alive.
