We always start with the infrastructure—trusses, lighting, and heavy drapes—before the flowers even touch the frames. If you are picking a venue that acts as a blank canvas, know that we prioritize structural stability and lighting angles first, because no amount of décor can fix a poorly lit corner or a weak stage foundation. ### The Reality of Event Setup We have spent 15+ years learning that the chaos before the wedding is just as important as the big day itself. Clients often see the perfectly lit reception or the vibrant Haldi setup, but our work starts hours earlier. We focus on the unseen details that actually make or break an event. ### Our Workflow Breakdown * **Structural Planning:** For outdoor events, especially at venues like farmhouses or open lawns, we assess the wind, ground leveling, and power backup before deciding on decor elements. * **Lighting Coordination:** We don't just put up fairy lights. We coordinate the truss height and moving head positions to ensure your stage backdrop looks just as good in photos as it does to the naked eye. * **Material Handling:** From the heavy brass Urlis used in traditional setups to the delicate artificial wisteria hangings for mandaps, our team manages the transport and installation to ensure everything arrives in perfect condition. ### Why the 'Before' Matters Whether it is a destination wedding in a new city or a local celebration in Mumbai, the process remains the same. We view the space as a canvas, not just a room. When you see our work, you are seeing the result of hours of cable management, floral arrangement, and careful styling. We believe in being transparent about this process because it helps you understand why we need access to the venue ahead of time and how we coordinate with other vendors to keep your schedule seamless. ## About Uours Decorators We have spent the last 15 years learning that the chaos before the wedding is just as important as the final setup.
