Come see the real, messy, and super fun side of my sessions where we focus on laughing more than getting every step right. ## Photos and videos - [Video: A funny moment from a class where a student tried to copy my move a little too literally. We usually end up turning it into a new, fun variation or just having a good laugh before jumping back in. It is all about the mahaul—if you are nervous about showing up with two left feet, this is the exact place where you will feel comfortable letting loose. ### Why Imperfection is the Goal I have always believed that if you aren't laughing while you're dancing, you're doing it wrong. My 'Easy N Elegant' approach is designed specifically for people who are scared of looking silly. Whether we are practicing Bollywood dance for beginners in my home studio or running a quick session in a community hall, the focus is never on technical perfection. It is about the feeling of the music and the joy of movement. ### What Happens in a Freestyle Session When we do freestyle or practice routine steps, my goal is to get you comfortable with your own body. We break down the 'how-to' into simple, bite-sized pieces. If you take a wrong turn, we own it. We have worked with students all over Delhi NCR who started out super shy and ended up being the ones leading the circle by the end of the month. ### Frequently Asked Questions * **Do I need experience?** Absolutely not. If you can walk, you can dance. We keep it simple. * **Is it too intense?** Not at all. We focus on grace, expressions, and just having a good time. It is a great way to sneak in some cardio without feeling like a workout. * **What if I forget the steps?** Join the club! I forget steps all the time, and we just smile and keep the energy going. That is the beauty of a freestyle environment. Come as you are, leave the stress at the door, and let's just dance. ## About Shruti Srivastava I am Shruti, and for me, dancing is just a way to feel happy. I am the type of teacher who forgets her own steps and laughs about it, so you will never have to worry about feeling judged in my sessions.
