Because we are an officially affiliated WAKO club, our belt grading system and tournament preparation are recognized at the state and national levels. This isn't just about learning a move; it's about following a structured, regulated path that prepares you for actual competition in Karnataka and beyond. ### Training with Official Recognition Martial arts can often feel like a guessing game, but at UMC, we strip away the guesswork. By maintaining our affiliation with the Karnataka Kickboxing Sports Association (KKSA) and WAKO India, we ensure that every student is learning techniques that align with national competitive rulesets. #### What This Means for You * **Valid Belt Gradings:** When you earn a belt here, it carries weight. Our grading system follows the protocols established by WAKO, providing a clear, verifiable timeline for your growth from beginner to advanced practitioner. * **Clear Competition Pathway:** Many of our students aim for the ring. Because we are part of the official sports ecosystem, we can register our fighters for state and national tournaments under the WAKO banner. This is the direct route for those who want to transition from training to competitive fighting. * **Standardized Curriculum:** Our coaching staff follows strict guidelines to ensure safety and technical accuracy. Whether you are in our HSR Layout facility or training at our Kodichikkanahalli branch, you are receiving the same high-standard instruction. #### Real Results in the Cage We believe in proof. Our trophy case at the HSR branch isn't just decoration; it's built on years of fighters competing in KKSA-sanctioned events. If your goal is to step into the cage and test yourself against the best, you need a training environment that understands the mechanics of the sport inside and out. We provide that foundation, combining hard, sweat-drenched training with the administrative backing required to actually compete in the sport of kickboxing. ## About United Martial Arts & Activity Club We started UMC to create a space where martial arts is treated with the discipline it deserves.
