Whether it is Yamini personally checking the alignment of spice baskets at a Souk-themed mehendi or our team adjusting the lighting to catch the sunset just right, we are the ones on the ground, sweating the small stuff so you do not have to. Our design philosophy is rooted in the belief that a wedding should feel like a living, breathing story. When we take on a project, we move beyond generic themes. For our Souk at Fatehpur setup, for example, we did not just rent decor. We hand-picked woven carpets, custom-designed lantern patterns to cast specific shadows, and even sourced authentic terracotta pots to create an immersive scent profile of spices and florals. This process involves: - Storyboarding: We start by listening to your memories. That chai stall from your first date or the specific shade of marigold your grandmother loved—these become the architecture of your event. - Material Selection: We believe in tactile design. It is not just about how it looks; it is about how it feels. We touch the fabrics, test the spice blends, and review the layout on-site, often making changes on the fly to suit the venue's natural light or wind conditions. - Crisis Management: With 15+ years of experience in Mumbai and beyond, we know that the fairytale is built on the foundation of problem-solving. Whether it is managing vendor logistics for a destination wedding in Mussoorie or ensuring a last-minute floral change at a reception, our 6-12 person team acts as the quiet backbone of your celebration. We are not just planners coordinating vendors from a desk; we are the designers, the stylists, and the people on the floor ensuring every archway is sturdy and every lantern is lit. This is how we ensure that when you walk down the aisle, you are not just seeing a venue; you are stepping into a story written for you. ## About The Wedding Designers We are a team of storytellers, not just planners. You will often find Yamini, our co-founder, obsessing over the placement of a single carpet or the scent of a spice basket, because those small details are where the real emotion lives. We have spent 15 years bringing these visions to life, and we are still just as excited to build your story as we were on day one.
