We focus on ABCs—Agility, Balance, and Coordination—using soft balls and gamified drills like cone weaving and relay races to ensure safety while keeping engagement high. We want them comfortable moving their own bodies and developing spatial awareness before they even pick up a heavy bat. Our TUG Cubs program in Sector 104, Noida, is designed to keep kids aged 4 to 7 active and outdoors. We strip away the complex rules of cricket, using the sport instead as a vehicle for physical development. We prioritize natural movement patterns, such as jumping, running, and changing direction, which are the building blocks for any future athlete. ### Why the TUG Cubs Approach Works * **Injury-Free Learning:** We use tennis balls or soft synthetic balls to ensure that children can swing, catch, and run without fear of impact. * **Gamified Drills:** Whether it is hurdle jumping to improve leg strength or plank-to-pike routines for core stability, every exercise is framed as a game. * **Sensory Grounding:** We incorporate barefoot walking and movement, which helps with sensory development and improved balance. ### What Parents Need to Know Sessions are designed with smaller group sizes to ensure safety and individual supervision. We do not drill cricket technique into 4-year-olds; we build the body control they will need to excel once they start formal coaching.
