## About Event Announcements

When you see a poster here, it is not just a concert announcement; it is an open invitation to a space we have designed for connection. We keep our guest lists small to maintain an acoustic, unplugged atmosphere, so if you see an upcoming baithak that speaks to you, please reach out early to secure your spot on the floor cushions.

For me, a musical announcement is more than just a date and time. It is about creating a sanctuary where you can pause, sip some adrak chai, and actually hear the nuances of the music. Whether it is a ghazal tribute honoring the legacy of Jagjit Singh or a sitar soirée featuring the Rampur Senia Gharana, my goal is always to strip away the stage and bring us all closer.

### Why These Gatherings Are Different
I curate these evenings with a specific intent. We often host them in intimate spaces like The Courtyard in Shanti Nagar or Shoonya, where the acoustics allow for a conversation rather than a broadcast. You will find that my event lineup focuses on semi-classical genres—Thumri, Dadra, and Ghazal—because these forms allow for the kind of emotional, raw expression that suits a small room.

### My Approach to Curation
I am lucky to work with a community of artists from Kolkata, Delhi, and beyond—people I call my brothers. When I bring someone like Sohini, Sarfaraaz, or other artists join me, we do not just rehearse a setlist. We spend time building a chemistry that translates on stage. This is why you see the same artists returning to our baithaks; there is a mutual respect and a shared language in our music that the audience feels instantly. 

### What to Expect
If you attend one of these sessions, do not expect a standard concert hall experience. Expect to sit close to the floor, listen to stories behind the poetry, and perhaps even chat with the artists after the performance. My events are designed for listeners who want to understand the Raga or the context of a ghazal, not just hear it. If you have been looking for an honest musical experience in Bangalore that feels like an evening among friends, keep an eye on this space.
