After decades on stage, I still find the deepest magic in small, close-up settings. For me, music is a way to connect, not a platform to show off. Whether it's a `baithak` or a casual get-together, I want everyone to feel the music, not just hear it.

I design each event to break down the usual wall between artist and audience. Picture this: floor mattresses, hot chai, music flowing in a cozy room or open garden, and everyone sitting together like old friends. No stiff stage, no formality - just raw, real connection.

### My story

Namaskara! I’m Trilochan Kampli, tabla is my world. Been at it for 29 years, played everywhere from big auditoriums to tiny rooms. But honestly? Those small baithaks, where you can just sit, chat, play, laugh with folks – that’s where the real heart of music is. My dad, Shri K.G. Somsekhar, taught me that music is a blessing, something to share. Every show, every tribute, it’s all about connecting and keeping that legacy alive.

### My work

- **Tabla for Every Mood**: I play tabla for Hindustani classical, ghazals, thumri, and also bring live baithak tabla to your space.
- **Real Connection on Stage**: No show-off. I just focus on the music, the vibe, and the back-and-forth with the audience.
- **Collaborative Music**: Love sharing stage with my guru, friends, and family. That’s where traditional chaupaal music shines.
- **Curated Baithaks & Chaupaals**: I organize intimate gatherings with chai, music, and stories—keeping our musical legacy tribute alive.
