We formulate these as Cone 6 oxidation glazes, so they are stable enough for food-safe functional ware but reactive enough to keep things interesting. After three years of obsessively tweaking formulas in our glaze room, we finally stopped gatekeeping our favorite colors and launched Trana. These are not your standard, boring off-the-shelf glazes. We designed them for the unpredictable nature of our Bangalore monsoon, resulting in reactive finishes that dance a bit when they hit the kiln. We focus on Cone 6 oxidation firing. It is the sweet spot for durable stoneware that is actually food-safe. Our liquid glazes are pre-mixed and ready to go, whether you prefer brushing or dipping. If you are a fellow clay nerd, you know the struggle of finding a glaze that does not just turn out flat. Our 'Midnight Blue' is a favorite because it is temperamental in the best way. Expect variations in color density and those gorgeous, unexpected iron-break edges. We also offer a range of smooth, reliable mattes in earthy tones like Sage Green for those projects where you want consistency. For those wanting to nerd out on the science, we occasionally host Glaze Development masterclasses where we crack open the chemistry of it all. Otherwise, you can grab our liquid stoneware glazes in 250ml to 500ml jars directly from our Jayanagar studio. Just drop us a message if you want to see what is currently in stock. ## About Trayah Pottery We are Trayah Pottery, Koramangala’s local pot squad.
