I analyze the sun path and local wind patterns to determine the exact orientation of your structure. This is not just about efficiency, it is about ensuring your home stays cool naturally, using the same logic nature uses to regulate temperature in a forest canopy or a valley. Biophilic architecture is not about adding indoor plants to a room, it is about structure, light, and form. Whether I am designing a weekend farmhouse or a contemporary city residence, I rely on raw, honest materials like exposed brick, concrete, Kota stone, and oxide floors. These materials age gracefully and keep your home low-maintenance, which means you spend less time fussing over repairs and more time living in the space. My process is transparent and collaborative from the first sketch to the final build. I look at technical details like thermal comfort, greywater recycling systems, and custom joinery before a single brick is laid. By minimizing construction waste and working with the land, I ensure the space feels like it grew from the ground up rather than being forced onto the site.
