We reject the standard hierarchy of design firms, preferring to sit together in an open space where material samples, rough sketches, and technical drawings circulate freely, ensuring that every project benefits from the combined intuition of our architects and interior designers. True design excellence rarely comes from a single ego. At Transform, we function as a collective intelligence. Our team operates at the intersection of architecture, psychology, and sensory perception. We believe that a space is not merely a composition of walls or decor, but a living environment shaped by the hands that build it. Our recruitment and internal training reflect this commitment to depth over speed. We look for individuals who possess a specific kind of patience, an ability to listen to a space before deciding how to change it. Whether we are finalizing construction drawings for a cultural project or hand-picking stone textures for a private residence, every decision passes through a rigorous internal review. This is not for approval, but for alignment. Does this detail serve the user? Does it feel right? We work in a studio culture that values the silence needed for deep thinking. You will often find us debating the emotional impact of lighting temperatures or the tactile resonance of a material. This constant interrogation of our own work ensures that when we finalize a design, it is not just aesthetically resolved but psychologically grounded. By maintaining a tight-knit team in New Delhi, we ensure that the quality of our work remains consistent, whether we are engaging with a client in the National Capital Region or a project located elsewhere in India. We treat each project as a personal responsibility, and our people are the ones who carry that weight, ensuring that the final execution remains faithful to the initial, fleeting feeling that started the journey. ## About Transform Design I am Ashmit, and this studio is an extension of my own curiosity. My team and I function less like a firm and more like a think tank, where every voice contributes to the final outcome. We are here to build spaces that hold you, not just house you.
