Fresh flowers are always stem-wrapped to ensure they never touch your cake directly, keeping your dessert both beautiful and food-safe. Designing a floral cake is about balance. We use Swiss Meringue buttercream for a stable, velvety finish that holds intricate textures without being overly sweet. For larger events, we often recommend our double-barrel cakes, which offer a taller, more dramatic canvas for cascading floral arrangements. When you choose a design, you can opt for edible sugar flowers or fresh blooms. Our sugar art requires days of preparation, as each petal is individually shaped and dried to capture a realistic look. If you prefer the organic charm of fresh flowers, we source high-quality, pesticide-free varieties and treat them individually before they reach your cake. Since we do not use templates, we start every order with a conversation about your venue, the scale of your event, and your preferred color palette. We then match the frosting techniques—whether it is a semi-naked finish, concrete texture, or classic smooth ganache—to suit the floral arrangement.
