The answer is a hard no. Whether you are living in a brand-new apartment or an older family home, our retrofit modules sit discreetly behind your existing switches. Our clients love that they can upgrade to a fully automated lifestyle without the construction mess or the stress of a major renovation. ### Life with Totem: What Our Clients Say Automation isn't just about cool gadgets; it's about solving real-world problems. Whether it's removing the dependency on physical keys, managing lighting to save on energy bills, or setting up a cinema experience with a single voice command, we focus on functionality that actually improves your day. #### Why Homeowners Choose Our Retrofit Systems * **No Structural Changes:** We specialize in retrofitting. If your home has standard electrical wiring, we can make it smart. No drilling, no cement dust, and no changing your interior design. * **Personalized Security:** As clients like Mr. Ram have noted, security is often the primary driver. We move beyond generic CCTV setups to create an integrated ecosystem with video doorbells, motion detectors, and remote access, allowing you to monitor your home from anywhere. * **Intuitive Convenience:** It’s the little things that count—like automated curtains that open with the sunrise or lights that switch on automatically at sunset. Clients like Mr. Keshav have experienced firsthand how voice commands can turn a living room into a home theater instantly. #### Our Approach to Smart Living We don't just dump technology on you. We look at your daily routine. Do you struggle with managing guests? We set up smart entry protocols. Are you worried about energy usage? We configure sensors to ensure lights are off when rooms are empty. We are based in Bengaluru but take our 'Make in India' mission across the country, from the National Capital Region to Mumbai, proving that premium home automation is accessible for everyone. ## About Totem We are a team obsessed with making smart homes actually possible for regular folks.
