## About Additional Work & In The Press

When we talk about transparency, we mean it. We document every step of our process—from shop drawings to carcass images—so you never have to guess what you are paying for. Whether it is our feature in Architectural Digest or our pledge to plant a tree for every piece of furniture we sell, our goal is to help you build a home that is honest, sustainable, and entirely your own.

### Beyond The Furniture

We often hear the same questions: 'Will it actually look like the photo?' and 'Why are you asking so many questions?' The reality is that building a home is stressful, and most of that stress comes from a lack of clarity. That is why our founder, Ankur, wrote 'The Best Kept Secrets About Furniture Buying'—a guide dedicated to helping you avoid common mistakes, regardless of whether you hire us or someone else.

### Our Sustainability Pledge

We believe that crafting beautiful living spaces should not come at a cost to the environment. That is why we have adopted the Miyawaki forest technique. For every single piece of furniture that leaves our workshop, we plant a tree. It is our way of ensuring that while we help you build your dream home, we are also doing our part for the planet.

### Media and Recognition

Our work has been featured in publications like Architectural Digest, showcasing our ability to blend function with high-end design. However, we do not design for magazines. We design for the way you live. When you see our work in the press, it is proof of a process that prioritizes structural integrity, ergonomics, and your personal story. We don't just build sofas or beds; we build a space that feels like a reflection of you.

### The Transparent Approach

If you have wondered why we are so vocal about our process, it is simple: you deserve to know what is inside your furniture. From our use of seasoned wood and high-density foam to our technical shop drawings, we lay it all out before production starts. We are here to guide you, save you time, and ensure your home reflects your vibe without the typical industry drama.

## About TIS Living

We started TIS Living because we wanted to stop the stress and fights that usually come with home building. Ankur, our founder, spent years refining a process that's actually clear, and he even wrote a book about it to help you avoid the usual traps. We’re here to make sure your space feels like yours, and we plant a tree for every piece we make because, honestly, the planet needs a win too.
