By integrating elements like custom-fabricated metal sculptures or intricate marble floor inlays, we transform these transitional zones into the most engaging areas of your home. A well-designed staircase does not just connect floors; it serves as a central architectural feature that demands attention. The entrance defines the mood of your residence. While many projects focus on the living room, we believe the foyer and staircase should hold equal weight. Our approach treats these areas as gallery-like experiences rather than mere thoroughfares. ### Materials and Technique We often employ high-contrast materials to create depth. You might see us pairing reflective black marble walls with soft, warm lighting to create an inviting yet dramatic atmosphere. Our staircase designs incorporate structural art, such as custom-commissioned sculptures that climb the railing, turning a standard functional element into a conversation starter. ### Flooring as Art We prioritize complex, circular marble inlays that act as a map, guiding visitors from the entrance into the heart of the home. This creates a sense of flow and intentional movement. ### The 'Heavy and Light' Balance Our signature design formula is applied here as much as in any living area. We balance the weight of stone-clad walls or metal installations with lighter elements like glass, custom lighting fixtures, or open-riser staircase designs. This ensures the space feels grand without feeling crowded. ### Furniture and Styling If space permits, we incorporate seating zones within the foyer to provide a pause point. These are comfortable, functional spaces that make the entryway feel lived-in and welcoming rather than just a cold, decorative hall. ## About Tmura We are Tmura Interiors.
