My answer is always yes, because I am sitting right there with them. We do not just hand over tools and walk away, we teach grip, focus, and respect for the machine. It is the difference between a child playing with a pre-made toy and actually understanding how the world gets built, one screw at a time. ### More Than Just a Workshop When we say we are building makers, we mean it. Our workshops at our Langford Town studio and the Bangalore International Centre in Domlur are not about following a rigid manual or creating a perfect final product that looks good on a shelf. We focus on the process—the 'messy middle' where things go wrong, parts don't fit, and children have to problem-solve to make them work. ### What We Cover Whether it is our single-session 'Spark' workshops or our 5-day Intensive Innovation Camps, the goal is always the same: demystifying technology. Your child will: * **Handle Real Tools:** From screwdrivers and wire strippers to soldering stations, we teach kids how to use adult-grade tools properly. * **Take Things Apart:** Our 'Disassembly Bay' is a student favorite. We open up old CPUs, motorcycle engines, and household gadgets to see exactly what makes them tick. * **Build & Create:** Whether we are using 3D-printed gears, motors, or cardboard chassis, kids leave with a functioning creation—be it a wind-up car, a hydraulic maze, or an art bot. * **Learn Software:** For our more advanced tinkerers, we integrate CAD and Tinkercad to bring digital designs to life on our 3D printers. ### Why Tinkernauts? We keep our ratios low, usually 1:5, to ensure every child gets the attention they need. This isn't a lecture-based environment. It is a noisy, collaborative, and highly engaging space where mistakes are viewed as prototypes and curiosity is the most important skill we teach. If your child is constantly asking how things work, they will fit right in. ## About Tinkernauts I am Rohan, and I started Tinkernauts because I saw how quickly kids lose interest in generic educational toys. I am right there in the thick of it with your kids, guiding them through the loud, messy, and incredibly rewarding process of building something that actually works.
