We show kids that they do not need to buy 'stuff' to invent something cool, they just need to look at what is already in the recycling bin with a slightly different perspective. ### Turning 'Trash' into Tools We treat the 'messy middle' of a project as the most important part of learning. When a student builds a Bluetooth speaker out of a plastic bottle or a water alarm from scrap, they stop seeing waste and start seeing raw materials. This shift in perspective is what we aim to cultivate in every session. ### The 3D Printing Process It is not just about pressing a button. At our studio, kids are involved in the entire cycle: * **Design:** Using Tinkercad to bring a digital idea into reality. * **Slicing:** Understanding how the printer reads their file. * **Fabrication:** Watching the extruder lay down PLA filament layer by layer. * **Troubleshooting:** Learning that if a print fails, it is a chance to adjust the settings and try again. ### Why We Tinker Whether it is building a TIE Bomber or a magnetic levitation craft, the goal remains the same. We want kids to develop comfort with failure. In our world, a prototype that does not work is not a mistake, it is just data. By the time they finish a module, they have not just built a toy to take home, they have built the resilience to figure out how the world works, one screw at a time.
