Choosing bridal jewellery isn’t just about the main event; it’s about what remains. I often suggest pieces like my detachable emerald and diamond layered necklaces. They bring drama for the big day but can be reconfigured into elegant, wearable pieces long after the last wedding ritual. Think of it as a style investment that evolves with you, rather than a heavy set that sits in a safe.

### Building Your Bridal Trousseau

When I look at a bridal trousseau, I see the beginning of a collection that will grow with you. My approach to bridal jewellery in Mumbai has always been rooted in a simple philosophy: if you cannot wear it after your wedding day, it belongs in a museum, not on your vanity. 

### The Art of Versatility

Many of my clients at our Cuffe Parade studio come to me feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to choose heavy sets that serve one purpose. I focus on creating multi-way jewellery. Take, for instance, a Polki and pearl choker that catches the light during a haldi ceremony, which can later be paired with a simple silk saree for a festive evening. Or, look at my layered diamond necklaces—these are designed to be worn in sections. You can wear the full heavy set for your reception and strip it back to a lighter chain for a smaller family dinner.

Tradition and modern aesthetics do not have to compete. My Polki pieces use authentic, hand-set stones that pay homage to heritage, while the diamond lines are shaped with clean, contemporary geometry.
