But there is a reason we do not do quick-fix workshops. Instead, we focus on regular, month-long batches. Why? Because you cannot learn solid technique, rhythm, or safety in a single hour. When you join our classes, you are not just learning a routine for a reel; you are building the coordination and muscle memory that will actually make you a dancer. ### Foundation Over Flash 'Foundation over Flash' is not just a catchphrase. In our Malad, Versova, and Andheri classes, I see many students who spent months doing random workshops but still struggle with basic balance or rhythm. That is why our monthly subscriptions for Bollywood, Hip-Hop, and Fusion are designed to bridge that gap. Over 8 classes a month, we work on warm-ups, specific technique drills, and finally, choreography. This process protects your joints and ensures you are actually dancing, not just mimicking movements. ### Safe, Real Learning We cater to all levels. If you are a beginner, you will start with basics like posture and weight transfer. If you are intermediate, we move into more complex musicality. Our studio flooring is sprung wood, specifically chosen to keep your knees safe while we practice. We also keep our batches small enough that you get personal feedback, so you will never get lost in the crowd. ### The TDA Community Whether you are 4 or 60, our goal is to get you comfortable in your own skin. By the end of the month, we film a routine. That is for you to see how far you have come, not for social media clout. Come for the classes, stay for the therapy, and leave as part of the TDA family. ## About Tijo's Dance Academy I started TDA in 2016 with just a few kids in Andheri, chasing nothing but a love for movement. Now, it is a space where 60-year-olds and 4-year-olds share the same floor, and where strangers become family is an actual daily reality, not just a line on a website.
