You will see a rough drawing of how your piece will look, followed by a colored rendering that captures the details we discussed. This way, we know exactly what we are creating together—whether it is adding Basra pearls, changing the meenakari, or restructuring a heavy set—before we ever begin the actual reconstruction. The journey of refurbishing is deeply collaborative. Many of my clients come to me with a locker full of jewellery they adore but find difficult to wear because the designs feel dated or the weight is uncomfortable for daily use. My goal is to bridge that gap between sentiment and style. ### The Process Every transformation starts with a conversation. I want to know the story behind the piece: Is it your dadi’s hasli or a set of ginnis you collected? Once I understand the history, we move to the design phase. We sketch, we propose, and we refine. I use techniques like moti piroi, where I hand-string fresh pearls, and traditional meenakari to breathe new life into your items. ### Why Refurbishing Works You do not need to melt your gold to change its look. Often, we can preserve the original metal while modifying the structural elements. For instance, I frequently convert rigid pendants into flexible tassel pendants or add delicate pearl strands to existing polki sets to make them lighter and more wearable.
