## About Behind the Stitches

You’ll see the real process here—sometimes I’m crocheting while balancing dinner plans, and that’s just how it goes! I share every step, from picking the right cotton yarn for a keychain to getting the tension just right on a granny square. It’s not just a product, it’s a little piece of my day that I’m making, usually with a cup of tea nearby and a toddler running around. 😅

When you order a crochet piece from me, you're getting something made with real heart and a lot of patience. Whether it's a tiny amigurumi toy for your little one or a personalized keychain, I treat every loop and knot with care. I mainly use premium Indian cotton blends like Vardhman Cotton Dreamz, which I love because they hold their shape beautifully and are soft enough for baby clothes. 

My process is as 'messy' as it is creative. I document the journey—the tangled yarn, the color decisions, and even the moments where I’m debating whether a flower needs one more petal. 

### Why Custom Matters

You aren't buying off a shelf. You pick the colors, you tell me the vibe, and I work it into reality. Need a rumaal (handkerchief) border? I’ll send you updates while I’m stitching it so you know exactly how it’s looking. 

### Practical, Washable, & Cute

Everything I create is designed to be used, not just stared at. My coasters are thick and heat-resistant, and my kids' items are made with soft, non-toxic yarn that holds up to daily play. My amigurumi-style stitching is extra tight to make sure nothing comes loose. If you see a loose thread in a work-in-progress photo, don't worry, that's just the 'before' stage—I always make sure everything is clean and finished before it reaches your hands!

I'm Fatema, and honestly, if I'm not crocheting, I'm probably in the kitchen or running around after my kid. My home in Mumbai is basically one big yarn stash, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Everything you see here is made by my hands, in between all the other chaos of life!
