Whether you are learning Kathak or mastering a complex Tabla taal, you will find our musicians playing right there in the studio, helping you develop a real-world ear for rhythm that pre-recorded tracks simply cannot teach. ### Our Approach to Learning Music and dance here are rooted in the Guru-Shishya tradition. We believe that learning is a dialogue, not just a lecture. When you join our vocal or instrument classes, you aren't just memorizing notes; you are sitting in a traditional Baithak setup, learning the discipline of posture and the nuance of sound. ### Why Choose Our Studio? * **Live Musicians:** We don’t rely on recorded backing tracks. Having live harmonium for vocals and live tabla for dance ensures that you learn to listen, react, and synchronize in real-time. * **Small Batches:** We keep our groups intentionally small. This allows us to focus on individual hand positioning for tabla, swar sadhana for vocals, or specific chakkars for dance, ensuring you get the correction you need. * **For Every Age:** Whether you are a parent looking to start your child on a musical journey or an adult looking to return to a passion, we have dedicated batches that cater to your pace. ### Our Expertise We provide structured training designed for both hobbyists and those looking to appear for recognized exams like Prayag Sangeet Samiti or Trinity College London. From the basics of sargam to advanced raag development, our curriculum is designed to be steady and sustainable. If you are ever unsure about which level to join, come sit in on a session—we are always happy to help you find your rhythm. ## About Thirkan We are Thirkan, a community built on the love of rhythm and movement. Having grown up in the Guru-Shishya tradition, we bring that same respect for heritage into our studios in Noida and Dubai, making classical art accessible to every student who walks through our doors.
