My 200-hour course includes a mandatory one-month teaching internship at The YogArt Studios after your training. You will not just learn how to perform an asana; you will learn how to correct a student's posture, manage the energy in the room, and use your voice to guide a class, which is the only way to gain real teaching confidence. ### Beyond the Certificate Many courses focus on the 'king-size bed' of certification, but I focus on the person sleeping in it. If you want to teach, you must first understand yourself. We follow the Guru-Shishya Parampara, which means this isn't a quick fix. You will undergo two months of intense classroom study followed by a month of practical internship, ensuring you are ready to lead before you ever get your certificate. ### The Curriculum We meet Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. My approach is simple: if you hunch, your energy flow gets blocked. We fix that first. * **Physical Practice:** Daily one-hour sessions covering Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, and Iyengar alignment. We use props like bolsters and bricks to respect every body type. * **Theory:** Anatomy, Physiology, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, and the basics of Ayurveda. * **Teaching Skills:** We work on voice modulation, sequencing, and the vital art of giving adjustments. ### Practical Exams & Assessment Certification isn't handed out; it is earned. You will complete a written exam and a practical teaching demonstration (Viva). You are also required to assist in live classes during your internship. This is where you see what happens when a student is struggling or when a pose needs a modification. This is where the real learning happens. Join us in Vile Parle West and bring your practice to the next level. Unleash, Align, Unite. ## About Aarti Purohit I am Aarti.
