In this studio, we don't rely on the sync button. You will learn manual beat matching on professional Pioneer gear, mastering the physical feel of the turntable platter and how to use Serato and Phase to make transitions that actually surprise a crowd. Being an open-format DJ means being ready for anything. Whether you want to blend Afro House with Bollywood or drop a classic Hip Hop acapella over a Jersey Club track, the secret is in the technique. ### The Technical Foundation In this course, we move beyond the basics. You will get hands-on with Pioneer PLX-1000 turntables and the DJM-S11 mixer. We cover the core skills that make a DJ stand out: * **Turntablism:** From basic cuts to complex flares, we teach you how to use your hands to manipulate the sound. * **Tone Play:** We go deep into mixing melodies and word play, allowing you to create a unique narrative across different tracks. * **Live Mashups:** You will learn to use acapella bridging and EQ manipulation to create blends that you can't find on any playlist. ### Why the Studio Environment Matters Theory only takes you so far. Our studio in Indiranagar is built for one thing: getting you comfortable in a real club setup. We provide acoustic treatment, professional monitors, and the exact hardware you will encounter in high-end venues. ### The 'Open Format' Philosophy I don't teach you to play one genre. I teach you to read the room. We cover everything from setting up Serato Pro and Phase DJ to the psychology of the dance floor. If you are serious about moving from the bedroom to the console, this is the place to build your foundation. Come by for a demo, check out the gear, and let's get to work. ## About Yankur Chetia I'm Yankur, and I've been living in these beats since 2008.
