This is not accidental. It is the result of months of repetitive, boring, and essential drill work—what I call the 'old school' method. Whether you are looking at a commercial jazz routine or a contemporary piece, the stability in their core and the sharpness of their execution are non-negotiable standards, not optional flourishes. What you see here is the culmination of my 'SOLUS' performance series, where the training shifts from the studio to the stage. I do not train students to simply mimic steps; I train them to understand the mechanics of their own movement. My approach at our Andheri West studio is built on a non-negotiable foundation of jazz and contemporary technique. We begin with posture, turnout, and muscle control, often spending weeks on drills before complex choreography is even introduced. This is why my students possess the specific poise and command visible in these highlights. For those interested in technical virtuosity, we focus on: * **Foundational Jazz:** Building strength, line, and alignment. * **Commercial Street Jazz:** Mastering stage presence, attitude, and sharp musicality. * **Integrated Programs:** For adults looking for a rigorous, injury-safe environment to develop real technique. My methodology is for those who value the process as much as the result. If you are seeking a school that offers quick routines or hobby-style classes, this is not the place for you. But if you are ready to apply yourself with discipline, consistency, and a desire to see what your body is truly capable of, you will find your artistry here. ## About Ratika Ram Kumar I am Ratika, and I run a school where we build dancers, not hobbyists.
