Instead, the focus is on postural alignment, core engagement, and learning the specific mechanics of jazz and contemporary movement to ensure you develop strength rather than just rote muscle memory. Dance is a discipline that requires patience, regardless of when you begin your journey. At our Andheri studio, we have removed the pressure of the 'performing arts' timeline. My classes for adults are built to ensure your body develops the necessary mechanics to execute movement safely. We utilize professional sprung wood flooring specifically to prevent joint strain, which is critical for adult learners who may be re-entering physical activity. The curriculum is an integrated fusion of jazz, contemporary, and soft hip hop, tailored for the 25 to 40 demographic. You will not find high-impact, unsustainable routines here. We focus on the lines, fluid movement, and elegance that define jazz technique. This is not a high-volume studio where you are one of many. We keep batch sizes small so that I can provide individual attention to your form and posture. If you are looking for a place to truly learn the craft of dance—to understand how to move with intention—you are in the right place. We do not offer discounts because the value of this training lies in its precision and the commitment we make to each student's development. Please note that an assessment session is required for all new students, as this allows us to determine your specific needs before you commit to the monthly enrollment. ## About Ratika Ram Kumar I founded this school because I wanted to cultivate a space for actual dance education, not just weekend hobby activities.
