At SOLUS, what we build in the studio—the alignment, the core strength, the floorwork—is tested under professional lighting. This is not a recital where you learn steps just for a crowd; it is the final, public measurement of your technical proficiency and the artistic voice we have cultivated together during training. SOLUS is not a hobbyist showcase. It is our annual recital, a milestone that requires a year of relentless, old-school technical training. When you see these soloists and group pieces, you are seeing the result of hours spent on barre work, repetitive weight transfer drills, and anatomical conditioning at our Andheri studio. My programs, whether the Junior Conservatory or the Advanced Soloist Division, exist to move you toward this stage. Dance is a culture of discipline. By the time a student performs, they have mastered the vocabulary of contemporary ballet and jazz not just by rote, but by understanding the mechanics behind every movement. We focus on the 'why' as much as the 'how.' If you are searching for a dance school in Mumbai that prioritizes virtuosity over spectacle, you have found it. We do not offer quick-fix choreography. We offer a path for those who value the process as much as the performance. Whether you are an adult beginner ready to build a foundation from scratch or a pre-professional dancer aiming for soloist status, your journey begins with the commitment to show up, do the work, and accept the feedback required to rise. ## About Ratika Ram Kumar I treat the stage as a classroom, not a show. My students perform because they have mastered the technique, not because they paid to wear a costume. If you are here to be a serious performer, we have a place for you.
