My studio focuses on the rigor of old-school drills and technical perfection, preparing students to be artists rather than just performers. ## Photos and videos - [Video: I seek to uphold the tradition of dance as education, as wisdom, as knowledge. We do not offer quick-fix choreography or casual social movement. We offer the repetitive, grueling work required to build a dancer from the ground up, focusing on core strength, alignment, and the mechanics of movement before we ever discuss performance routines. In a landscape dominated by recreational dance classes that focus on instant gratification, The World Dance School stands apart. We treat dance as a cultural discipline and an educational pursuit. My method is built on one simple premise: foundation first. Every movement you see here—from the extensions in our ballet drills to the floorwork in our contemporary classes—is a result of rigorous, repetitive training. We avoid shortcuts. Whether you are an adult beginner in our Integrated Foundation program or an advanced student in the Soloist Division, the syllabus remains consistent. It is about achieving technical command over your own body. We prioritize correct muscle engagement and injury prevention over viral trends. We utilize professional sprung wooden floors to protect your knees and maintain a no-phone zone to preserve the sanctity of the studio space. When you train here, you are not here to 'have fun' in the traditional sense; you are here to achieve self-mastery. We provide a space for those who value the process as much as the outcome. If you are prepared to trade instant results for long-term artistry, you will find a method that matches your intensity. This is where we build the dancers who will eventually break seminal ground. ## About Ratika Ram Kumar I do not teach dance as a hobby; I teach it as a discipline that builds character. I built this school because I saw a need for serious technical training that goes beyond mere spectacle. If you are ready to put in the work, I am here to help you rise.
