Whether it is wiring an LED to a custom-made card or using centrifugal force for spin art, every project is designed to be fully functional. Your child walks away with a tangible piece of art they created themselves, not just a lesson. It is messy, it is hands-on, and it is where their best ideas come to life. ### Where Science Meets Self-Expression At The Whiz Lab, we believe the boundary between art and engineering is non-existent. Our STEAM Creations workshops are built on the idea that when children build their own circuits or paint with physics, they aren't just memorizing facts—they are internalizing concepts. **What We Cover** * **Circuitry Basics:** We demystify how electricity works by making it glow. From conductive play dough circuits to intricate light-up nameplates, kids learn the difference between open and closed loops in the most rewarding way possible. * **Physics of Art:** Our spin art stations use centrifugal force to turn blank canvases into vibrant, radial patterns. It is high-energy, colorful, and teaches kids about motion and balance. * **Mechanical Craft:** We combine woodworking basics with engineering. Whether it is assembling a light-up lamp or a custom badge, kids get comfortable using basic tools to construct something that lasts. **Why This Matters** Many kids find STEM intimidating until they see how it applies to things they actually enjoy. By starting with a creative goal—like making a custom greeting card or a glowing toy—the technical hurdle of understanding voltage or gear ratios disappears. They aren't sitting through a lecture; they are solving a creative problem. All our sessions are guided by trained instructors who ensure the tinkering stays safe while letting the kids take the lead on their designs. Whether you are planning a themed party or a school workshop, we bring all the materials. Every child leaves with their own project, giving them a physical reminder of what they achieved. ## About The Whiz Lab We are The Whiz Lab, and we believe science should be messy, fun, and full of 'aha!' moments. We bring the tools, the tech, and the energy to your venue, so your kids can tinker, build, and break things until they truly understand how they work.
