I look for the moment your best friend drops a handful of turmeric, or that split second you and your partner share a laugh while your hands are still drying. These ceremonies are fast, loud, and messy, and my goal is to document the energy so you do not miss the details while you are busy living them. The Haldi and Mehendi functions are where the guards come down. While the main wedding day often leans towards traditions and portraits, these pre-wedding events are where the real personality of the couple and the family shines through. I bring a documentary approach to these hours. I am constantly watching for interactions—the quiet support of a parent, the enthusiastic chaos of friends, and the candid chemistry between you and your partner. Technically, I balance the need for bright, vibrant color grading with a natural, candid style. Whether it is an intimate backyard ceremony or a destination celebration in places like Pushkar or Udaipur, I position myself to catch reactions without interfering. I pay close attention to the small details—the intricate henna patterns, the floral jewelry, and the way the golden hour light hits the stage.
