I replace empty calories with dehydrated, nutrient-rich chews that keep your dawgs busy, calm, and mentally sharp. ## Photos and videos - ![Rudy the beagle enjoying a dehydrated meaty bone. It is usually because they haven't had a proper outlet for their natural chewing instincts. I only use custom-ordered dehydrated bones, cartilage, and trachea, never store-bought rawhide, because the density and texture provide genuine mental satisfaction without the risk of splintering or chemical additives. ### Why Natural Chewing Matters For a dog, chewing is a survival instinct and a massive endorphin release. When they gnaw on a proper dehydrated bone, they aren't just cleaning their teeth—they are regulating their emotions. My Brat Pack, including my senior beagles and the visiting pups, all get their downtime with these high-value chews. It is the best way to handle stress, separation anxiety, or just a burst of pent-up energy. ### The 'No-Rawhide' Rule I am strict about what goes into their mouths. Most store-bought chews are loaded with preservatives or bleaches. I source only raw, dehydrated options. These keep for longer and are easier on the gut. Whether it is a giant knuckle bone for the heavy chewers or cartilage for the seniors, every piece serves a purpose. ### Enrichment for Every Age - **Puppies:** Chewing helps with teething and teaches them to focus on appropriate objects instead of your slippers. - **Adults:** It provides necessary mental stimulation that a simple walk cannot match. - **Seniors:** Gentle chews keep their jaws strong and provide comfort without being too harsh. It is all about letting dawgs be dawgs. No forced training, just natural, calm enrichment that lets them settle into their own rhythm. If you are looking for a place where your dog’s mental health is taken as seriously as their physical comfort, you are in the right place. #HappyDawgs #RawFed #NaturalEnrichment ## About The Urban Dawg I am Devisri, and my home is a constant, messy, joyful playground for the Brat Pack.
