We combine oral storytelling with hands-on crafts, like clay modeling or festive art, so kids can bring a piece of the story home. Because we limit each batch to 15 to 25 children, your child gets personal attention, active participation, and the chance to actually lead the storytelling with their own questions and ideas. Our festive workshops are built on the belief that children learn best when they are excited and involved, not when they are sitting through a lecture. We bring the magic of festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Christmas to life through 'bachha energy' and shared experiences. ### How We Celebrate For festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, we go beyond the story. We talk about the significance of the traditions, sing aarti, and guide the kids through making their own clay Ganesha idols. When it comes to Christmas, we hold interactive sessions around original stories like 'A Gift for Santa', followed by DIY craft activities where kids build their own Santas and reindeer. ### Why It Works * **Interactive Narration:** We use voice modulation, drama, and props. If the story needs a drum beat or a dance, we make it happen. It is never a passive experience. * **Community First:** Our library is a safe, cozy space. These events are designed for parents and children to bond, often ending with shared snacks and photos at our themed booths. * **Skill Building:** The craft components aren't just for fun. They teach patience, fine motor skills, and confidence as children proudly show off what they have created. We keep our sessions small so that every child feels heard. Whether you join us at our Sector 50 library or attend an online event, our goal is to help your child fall in love with the stories behind the festivals. ## About The Treasure Trove Library Hi, I am Arvinda. I started this library in my flat with just 400 books, and watching it turn into a hub for festive stories and community events is a dream come true for me. I love bringing kids together to celebrate through stories, art, and laughter. It fills me up with so much gratitude to see families creating memories here every season.
