Many of the families you see here started with their toddlers in a weekend workshop and ended up joining our adult classes, turning their shared Sunday morning activity into a lifelong musical hobby. Building a space where music is a friend rather than a subject is the heart of what we do. When you walk into one of our sessions, you aren't just a student or a parent sitting in the back. You are part of a community. We see this in the 'Jungle Jugalbandi' sessions where parents and kids discover rhythm together, and in the 'Sakhya' fundraisers where our students perform for a cause. It is this shared experience that makes our classes feel like home. We do not believe in pressure or performing just for the sake of it. We believe in the 'Sargam' and the simple joy of finding a 'Sur'. Whether it is a parent finding their 'me time' in our adult classical music sessions or a child role-playing as their music teacher at home, these are the moments that define us. If you are looking for a place where your child can learn without fear of judgment, or if you want to pick up a hobby that actually relaxes you, you are in the right place. Our goal is to make sure that when you leave, you take a little bit of that rhythm home with you. ## About The Sound Space We are sisters, Kamakshi and Vishala, and we started The Sound Space to bring music back to the heartbeat of the family.
