If you have a passion for music and teaching young children, you'll fit right in. We're looking for enthusiastic educators to join our growing family and help us spread the magic of music.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/e8046882-7ca1-439d-baa7-370508a8346e) ## About Join Our Musical Family We don’t just look for music degrees. We look for educators who can take a complex raga and turn it into a 3-note nursery rhyme that makes a toddler smile. If you play an instrument—be it harmonium, djembe, or ukulele—and know how to turn a classroom into a playground, you already have the most important skill we need. At The Sound Space, our hiring process focuses on your ability to connect. We are not looking for performers who want to stand on a stage; we are looking for mentors who want to sit on the floor and jam with children. **What We Look For** We value teachers who are comfortable moving away from the rigid structure of traditional music exams. We want educators who can use storytelling, body percussion, and sensory props to keep kids engaged. If you are based in Pune and have experience (or a strong desire) to work with children, you will fit right in. **The Path to Teaching With Us** We often invite potential team members to start with our Foundation Music Pedagogy Workshop. This isn't just about learning our methods—it's a trial run for both of us to see if our pedagogical approach matches your teaching style. For those looking to dive deeper, our Early Childhood Music Educator Certification is the primary bridge to a full-time role. This vocational program includes 10 hours of live internship and classroom observation, giving you a real look at how we handle everything from group dynamics to prop usage. **Why Join Our Team?** We are building a community, not a company. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a musician who has never taught a class, we provide the curriculum and the framework so you don't have to wing it. If you care about music and have a heart for kids, we want to hear from you. ## About The Sound Space Hey, we’re Kamakshi and Vishala. We built The Sound Space because we believe music is a language of connection, and we’re always looking for teachers who feel the same way.
