### Screen-Free Fun, Real Learning

I set up The Reading Room because kids today get stuck to screens way too much. Here, bachchon ko khel khel mein seekhna milta hai (kids get to learn while playing). The whole vibe is friendly - books aren't boring, they're best friends, and every camp is about masti (fun) and exploration.

### What Happens at Our Camps

During school holidays, our place turns into a hub of energy. I run seasonal holiday camps for summer, winter, and spring. Each one is packed with activities that mix learning and play. 
- Storytelling, creative writing, book reviews
- Science workshops for children with real experiments
- Art, drama, and fun games
- Monthly themed events, like Gol Gappa parties or festival crafts

### It’s More Than Just a Camp

It’s not all about learning. We celebrate festivals, have pajama parties, and let kids show off their new skills with performances. Dressing up, making crafts, and sharing stories is part of the experience.

### What Kids Take Home

Kids leave with new friends, confidence, teamwork skills, a big imagination, and lots of memories. Sometimes, they even forget their screens for a while. And that, for me, is the best part.

### My story

Hey, we’re The Reading Room, born from Riddhika’s dream. You know how tough it is nowadays to get kids off their phones? We wanted a cozy spot where books win over screens. It’s not just a library—think of it as a gang of little thinkers! Sometimes it’s puppets, sometimes a gol gappa (crispy snack) party with an author, sometimes Ramleela. Watching kids laugh, read, act, or just chill with a good story—yahi toh hai asli khushi (this is real happiness).

### My work

- **What We Offer**: Children’s library memberships, toddler programs, summer camps, author visits, drama, science workshops, canvas painting, handwriting.
- **Learning While Playing**: All our activities—like playway drama classes and hands-on science workshops—are fun, interactive, and practical.
- **Screen-Free Zone**: Kids get a break from screens, diving into books, board games, and our screen-free reading programs.
- **Building a Community**: We celebrate festivals, do role-plays, and help kids open up, express, and grow confidence.
- **Stories Come Alive**: We host interactive storytelling sessions and author meet-and-greet events, mixing culture and fun.
