We help kids step out of their shells and into a world of stories. Through drama games, puppet making, and role-play, we build confidence and creativity, all while keeping it fun and screen-free.

## About Drama, Puppetry & Performance

In our drama sessions, it is not about perfect performances, but helping your child find their own voice. Whether they are shy toddlers or budding actors, we use puppets and theatre games to turn 'what if' into 'let us do it,' ensuring they practice expressing emotions in a space where there is absolutely no stage fright.

Our approach to drama is rooted in the play-way method. We do not look for polished actors, but for little thinkers who are comfortable expressing themselves. 

**From Craft to Stage**
Most of our drama workshops start with the hands-on creation of puppets. When a child spends time building their own character, they feel a personal connection to it. By day four of our camps, they are not just using a prop, they are performing a show with a character they designed from scratch. This process builds fine motor skills alongside stage confidence.

**Confidence Through Games**
We use theatre games to teach voice modulation and body language without the kids realizing they are in a lesson. We practice 'The Gruffalo' or classic tales where children swap roles, allowing them to try on different personalities—from the brave hero to the silly sidekick. It helps them empathize with others while working on their public speaking skills.

**A Safe Space to Express**
We consciously keep our sessions away from screens. Our space in Sector 39, Noida, is designed with cozy reading nooks and bright murals, making it a safe, welcoming environment. Whether it is a 5-day seasonal camp or our weekend storytelling clubs, the focus remains on the social and emotional growth of your child. We invite you to bring them over, let them get a bit messy, and watch them gain the confidence to speak up in front of an audience.

I am Riddhika, and I started The Reading Room because I wanted a space where books and stories are more than just paper. My team and I believe that when kids act out a story or build a puppet, they are not just playing—they are growing their confidence and their ability to express themselves.
