Whether it's crafting character masks after a dramatic reading of 'The Gruffalo' or creating art inspired by Piet Mondrian, your child learns to express themselves through hands-on making. It is all about building fine motor skills and creativity without the stress of being perfect. I always say that when a child picks up a paintbrush, they are not just painting—they are telling a story. In our sessions, the craft is never an isolated activity. If we are reading about space, we are building planets. If it is Dussehra is around the corner, we are making Ravan masks and talking about the Ramayana. ### Why parents love our sessions: * **Screen-Free Focus:** We provide the perfect 'detox' from phones and tablets, giving kids a space to focus on the tactile world. * **Skill Building:** From ear-bud painting to intricate collage work, every activity helps improve fine motor control and concentration. * **Cultural Connection:** We bring Indian festivals to life through art, helping children understand traditions like Republic Day or Diwali in a hands-on way. * **Confidence:** We do not aim for perfection. A shaky line or a messy glue job is just a step in the learning process, and we celebrate every bit of it. Our space in Sector 39, Noida, is designed for this creative chaos. We provide all the materials, from paints to craft paper, so you do not need to worry about a thing. Whether your little one is a budding artist or just loves getting their hands messy, they will find their corner here. ## About The Reading Room I’m Riddhika, and I founded The Reading Room to give kids a cozy, screen-free space to explore their creative side. I love seeing the pride on their faces when they finish a craft, knowing they have built something entirely on their own.
