You will layer textures, pull prints, and often end up with happy accidents that look better than any planned design. It is the perfect way to move from 'I cannot draw' to 'look at what I made' in just one session. ### How Our Printing Workshops Work Gelli plate printing is essentially a form of monoprinting. We use a soft, gelatin-like plate as our surface. You apply paint, press down various textures—like stencils, leaves, or even bubble wrap—and then lift the paper to reveal the design. It is one of our favorite techniques because it is non-judgmental. There is no right or wrong way to do it. If you do not like the first pull, you simply add more paint and print again. It is incredibly popular for kids because it provides instant gratification and a deep sensory experience without the pressure of having to draw something specific. ### What You Will Create - **Abstract Art:** Learn to build complex layers of color and shape. - **Collage Backgrounds:** Use your unique prints to create beautiful landscapes, birds, or patterns. - **Texture Studies:** Discover how everyday objects transform into art when pressed into paint. ### Why Join Us at Cunningham Road? Whether you are a toddler learning about color or an adult looking for a creative breather, our studio in Vasanth Nagar is set up for messy, joyful exploration. We provide all the Gelli plates, high-quality acrylic paints, and rollers. You do not need to bring anything except your curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little bit dirty. Our sessions are designed to be intimate, ensuring every participant gets the time they need to experiment.
