I typically use strawberries, dragon fruit, and oranges for my fruit-topped designs, but I always coordinate with what is fresh and available in the local Mumbai markets. If you have a specific favorite fruit, let me know, and I will adjust the design to keep the structural integrity of the cake perfect. ### Why Fresh Flowers and Fruit Work There is a distinct difference between using artificial decorations and real, edible elements. My floral and fruit cakes rely on sanitized, fresh blooms like roses and carnations, paired with seasonal fruits to bring life to the cake board. This style is not just about the aesthetic; it creates a lighter, less cloying flavor profile that works well for outdoor venues or daytime events. ### Customization Options - **Floral Piping:** I use buttercream to pipe intricate roses, sunflowers, or garden borders directly onto the sponge. This is a great way to add color without adding heavy fondant. - **Fruit Toppers:** Whether it is a two-tier summer cake or a single-tier minimalist design, I ensure the fruit is arranged for maximum visual appeal while remaining easy to slice and serve. - **Structural Integrity:** Fresh fruit releases moisture. To ensure your cake remains stable during transport, I prep the fruit and use a specialized buttercream finish that acts as a barrier, preventing the juices from seeping into the sponge. ### Planning Your Order Since these cakes depend on fresh ingredients, I recommend booking at least a few days in advance. This allows me to source the best fruits and flowers for your event. All cakes are 100% eggless and handcrafted in my Vashi studio, available for delivery across Thane, Panvel, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. ## About The Pink Patisserie I am The Pink Patisserie, and I believe eggless baking should never feel like a compromise.
