For men's editorials, I focus on the grit—the way light hits a jawline or how a shadow falls across a jacket. We'll spend the first hour just finding that one angle that feels entirely yours, not just a pose off Pinterest. For me, a fashion editorial is a conversation between the subject, the light, and the camera. In these sessions, we move away from stiff, commercial posing. Instead, we use controlled, dramatic lighting—think colored gels or high-contrast shadows—to bring out a cinematic quality that feels like a film still. Whether we are shooting a vintage look or something raw and modern, my goal is to strip away the noise and find the character in the frame. We can run this as a conceptual studio session or an outdoor editorial shoot. If you have a specific aesthetic in mind, we can discuss the moodboard beforehand. My crew handles the styling and lighting, so you can focus entirely on the performance. I’ve shot everything from high-glam looks to street-style grittiness, and the approach remains the same: it’s about capturing a moment that feels real. If you are aiming for a magazine-quality look, we use frequency separation and detailed retouching to ensure the texture is spot on, while keeping the skin looking natural.
