When you watch our coaches break down a song like 'Lambi Judai' or demonstrate a Raga, you are seeing the exact vocal ornamentations and mic techniques we want you to master. It is our way of showing that music is not just about passing an exam, but about developing the control and confidence to perform. At The Music Gurukul, we believe that to learn well, you must see the craft in action. Our 'Rockstar Coaches' are not just teachers; they are active performers who bring real-world experience into our Chembur and Matunga studios. Whether it is an impromptu session on Raag Gurjari Todi or a jam on a popular Bollywood track, these moments help bridge the gap between theory and execution. We focus heavily on technical foundations—like breath control, pitch, and texture—but we never let the joy of the craft get lost. When you see our instructors performing together, you get a sense of the collaborative, supportive environment we foster. We encourage our students to look beyond just the basics. If you are learning Hindustani vocals, you will see how we emphasize specific sargams and taans in practice. If you are into Western music, you will see how mic technique and performance style matter just as much as hitting the right note. Learning with us is about consistency. We urge our students to treat practice like a daily habit, something that grows over time. Our coaches are here to support that journey, whether you are attending classes at our studios or joining our hybrid sessions from elsewhere. If you are ready to put in the time, we are here to provide the structure and the community to make it happen. ## About The Music Gurukul At The Music Gurukul, my team and I believe music is a journey we take together.
