Here is a look at the messy, sweet, and careful process behind every box I bake for you. ## Photos and videos - [Video: A fun look at the daily life of a home baker. Sometimes the process of creating those perfect frosting swirls isn't as smooth as it looks in the final picture, but the delicious result is always worth it.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/3109984b-f461-47f1-8a3b-9a9b39f8985e) - [Video: A behind-the-scenes peek at a professional photoshoot for my cupcakes. I believe great photos help show the care and detail I put into every bake, like this blueberry cupcake and rich chocolate one.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/be185801-7ef1-49d0-8373-f894e3b0ac07) ## About From My Kitchen to Your Party When you see those perfect frosting swirls in my photos, know that they are the result of hours of work and a bit of trial and error. I need 5-6 days of lead time because I do not use pre-made toppers. I hand-sculpt every element fresh for your theme to ensure it matches your vision perfectly, and I prefer to keep my kitchen routine authentic rather than polished. ### The Reality of Home Baking Being a home baker in Bangalore means managing everything alone. From sourcing fresh ingredients to prepping the piping bags, it is a one-person show. I do not mass-produce, so I craft in small, controlled batches to ensure the flavor is always spot-on. ### Instagram vs Reality You might see a perfect frosting swirl on my feed, but behind that is often a bowl of icing, a few failed attempts, and a bit of a messy counter. I like to keep it real because you deserve to know that your food is prepared with human effort, not machine precision. The photoshoot you see here was my first professional attempt to capture the detail, and it taught me that even the most beautiful cupcakes start as a simple mix of flour, sugar, and love. ### Why the Lead Time Matters Those 5-6 days of notice are essential. They allow me to plan your specific theme, source the right colors, and give the fondant time to set perfectly. It also helps me manage my schedule so I can give your order the undivided attention it needs. ### Pickup Details Since I bake everything from my home kitchen, all orders are ready for pickup directly from my location in Bangalore. This ensures your cupcakes stay fresh, stable, and protected in their boxes until they safely reach your party table. ## About The Mommy's Bake Shop I am the baker behind The Mommy's Bake Shop.
