I use handmade props and creative, play-based activities to help young learners build a strong number foundation without any rote learning. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This "Mushroom Math Mania" activity is a great example of play-based education. We can use them for number recognition by calling out a number, or for learning sequences by asking the child to arrange them in the correct order.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/a8830218-df93-4637-910e-96ec8538107a) ## About Fun with Maths (For Young Learners) My approach is simple: I use tools like 'Mushroom Math' or 'Number Cones' to help kids visualize addition and sequencing. Instead of memorizing, your child learns to physically manipulate objects to solve problems, which builds confidence that lasts long after the session ends. Many parents come to me because their child finds numbers boring or confusing. That usually happens when we force them to memorize tables and sums before they understand what those numbers actually represent. In my classes, we don't rush. Whether it's counting dots on a 'Flower Clock' or solving addition with 'Mushroom Math', every activity is designed to make the abstract concrete. My online sessions for young learners are highly interactive. We use screen sharing and physical props that I guide you to set up at home. By the time we finish, your child isn't just reciting numbers; they are recognizing quantities, understanding the logic behind basic operations, and actually enjoying the process. If you are looking for a tutor who focuses on clarity rather than just finishing the syllabus, let's connect. I work one-on-one to ensure every concept is bilkul clear (absolutely clear) before we move to the next step. ## About The Kaur's Academy I am Ashima, and I founded The Kaur's Academy because I believe teaching is heart work, not just clock work.
