When planning, think about your venue's natural light and floor space; we often use focused uplighting to highlight the rich textures of marigolds and brass, so it helps to keep the setup area clear. Our approach to traditional decor goes beyond just hanging flowers. We believe that an intimate ceremony, whether a half-saree function or a traditional puja, deserves a setting that feels deeply personal and grounded in heritage. We source and style elements that have character—like hand-woven coconut leaf crafts and antique brass Urlis—to ensure the decor feels like an extension of your family's traditions. ### Why Choose Artisanal Decor? Many modern setups rely on plastic and foam, but we prefer the warmth of fresh Marigold and the fragrance of Tuberose (Rajnigandha). This isn't just about aesthetics; it's about creating an atmosphere. When guests enter, they should feel a shift in energy, a sense of occasion that only natural, artisanal elements can provide. ### Planning Your Space We specialize in transforming intimate home spaces into ceremonial stages. To get the best results, consider the following: * **Lighting:** We use floor-level par cans to create depth, casting shadows and highlights across the brass and silk fabrics. This creates a warm, opulent glow perfect for evening events. * **Functionality:** For functions like Oonjal (swing) ceremonies, we ensure the setup is sturdy yet aesthetically seamless, integrating the swing directly into the floral backdrop to create a unified focal point. * **Collaboration:** We love incorporating your family's specific vision. If you have heirloom pieces or a specific color palette in mind, share them with us. We treat your space like our own, paying attention to the tiny details—the way a curtain drapes or the placement of a lamp—that often go unnoticed but define the final feel of the event. ## About Hourglass Since 2014, we’ve been obsessed with turning simple family gatherings into dreamy, traditional celebrations.
