It is about the 30-minute late clients, the last-minute design changes I honestly cannot say no to, and the real conversations we have over cups of chai. It gets intense, but the support from my regulars—who text me 'Riya, tu kar le manage' (Riya, you handle it)—is what keeps me going. ### Why It Matters My work is not just about the final coat. It is about the prep, the dry manicure, and the quality of the gel or acrylic extensions that stay on for weeks.
