I often see spaces used as storage dumps that, with the right planning, could be a morning tea spot or a yoga corner. My process starts by assessing your sunlight direction and drainage points first. This ensures that the artificial grass, vertical wall, or seating we install isn't just pretty for a month, but actually thrives in your specific environment without becoming a chore to maintain. Transforming a space is rarely just about adding plants. It is about understanding how you want to use the area. Whether you are dealing with a standard 50 sqft balcony or a 500 sqft terrace, the process remains rooted in the same principles: functionality, durability, and peace. ### The Transformation Process When we start a project, I do not just focus on looks. I look at the technical reality of your space. Is the railing height safe for planters? Does your floor slope correctly for drainage? These are the questions that prevent issues later on. After a site visit where we take laser measurements, I present mood boards and material samples. This helps you visualize the change—like swapping cold tiles for high-density artificial grass or adding WPC decking to create warmth. ### From Storage to Sanctuary I have seen too many balconies treated like extensions of the utility room. My goal is to change that narrative. A well-designed terrace can serve multiple purposes. * **For small spaces:** I prioritize vertical gardens and compact, foldable furniture to maximize floor area. * **For large terraces:** I incorporate structural elements like pergolas, drip irrigation systems, and mature plants to create distinct zones for dining or meditation. ### Why It Matters This is not about grand landscaping that costs a fortune. It is about reclaiming your personal time. My naani always said, 'sab theek ho jayega'—everything will be alright—when you focus on caring for the small things. By bringing that greenery into your home, I help you create a place where you can slow down and breathe, regardless of the city rush outside. Whether you are in Pune or Mumbai, I am here to help you make that happen. ## About The Garden Coach I am The Garden Coach, and I believe plants are the simplest way to find calm. I take your unused balcony or terrace and turn it into a sanctuary where you can actually slow down, just like my naani taught me. My team handles everything from the layout to the final planting.
