Whether you need a space for casual client meetings, Friday night office drinks, or just a quiet spot to step away from your desk, I design for flow and durability. My work here focuses on using weather resistant materials and smart lighting so the area remains usable all year round. Rooftops are unique ecosystems. Unlike ground gardens, they deal with harsher winds, intense heat, and weight constraints. When I take on a terrace project, my first step is assessing the surface. I ensure any flooring, like artificial turf or decking, allows for proper water drainage to prevent seepage, a common concern for many building owners. We also carefully consider the weight of planters and furniture. Rooftop structural integrity is paramount, so I guide you toward lightweight alternatives that offer the same aesthetic value as traditional heavy ceramic or concrete pots. For office terraces, the focus is on multi functionality. You need surfaces that handle foot traffic, lighting that makes evening gatherings possible without complex wiring, and furniture that survives the monsoon. I often recommend modular layouts so you can easily rearrange the space for a yoga session in the morning or a team lunch in the afternoon. Commercial spaces have different needs than residential ones. If we are setting up a smoke break area or a formal party zone, I prioritize low maintenance elements. My goal is to reduce your upkeep time. We use UV stabilized artificial grass and foliage that keeps its vibrant green tone even under the harsh Indian sun. No mud, no mess, just a clean, professional aesthetic that impresses visitors and keeps your team happy. Whether it is an 8th floor rooftop or a private bungalow terrace, the process starts with a site visit. We look at the existing structure, discuss how you plan to use the space, and build a layout that feels like a natural extension of your indoor area. Sab theek ho jayega, once you have a space to recharge, everything else becomes easier to manage. ## About The Garden Coach I see every terrace as a blank canvas waiting for life. I don't just dump plants in corners; I build spaces that actually get used, whether it is for your morning tea or a Friday night office party.
